The Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) is a national institution based in Ibadan, Nigeria, established in 1964 to conduct research on cocoa, kola, coffee, cashew, and tea. Its mission is to improve these crops through genetic enhancement, pest and disease control, effective utilization of crops and by-products, and integration into cropping systems.
