CAPPAN serves as the umbrella body for all organized cashew processing and packaging companies in Nigeria. Its mission is to develop, protect, and promote the Nigerian cashew processing industry by advocating for favorable government policies, improving competitiveness, and ensuring the sustainability of local value addition.

It was established to:

Strengthen the Nigerian cashew processing industry.

Create jobs and reduce raw cashew nut exports.

Increase domestic and international market access for cashew products.

Foster collaboration between processors and other actors in the cashew value chain.
