Nigeria-EU Oil Seeds, Grains & Meal Business Forum
A Nigeria-EU business forum connecting Nigerian oil seeds, grains and meal exporters with European processors, refiners, feed manufacturers and traders. Brussels, 9 December 2026, on the margins of the EU Agri-Food Days.
The Nigeria-EU Oil Seeds, Grains & Meal Business Forum brings Nigerian exporters and cooperative federations into direct contact with the European buyers who matter in this cluster. It holds in Brussels on 9 December 2026, on the margins of the European Commission's EU Agri-Food Days.
The forum covers six commodities: sesame, hibiscus, cowpea, soybean and soybean meal, maize, and grains. It pairs structured trade facilitation meetings with a business-to-government roundtable, so trade conversations and policy conversations happen in the same room.
The trade facilitation sessions connect vetted Nigerian suppliers with European crushers, refiners, compound-feed manufacturers and traders. The business-to-government roundtable brings industry together with Nigerian government and programme representatives to address the questions that decide market access: EU Deforestation Regulation readiness for soybean, and quality and mycotoxin alignment for sesame and grains.
An optional programme of field visits runs on 10 December for delegates who wish to see processing and trade facilities in the Antwerp and Ghent area.
